What a phenomenal group of entries in Class 9, section 3. It was not at all easy to make decisions based on photographs in a class where I would be counting on my hands to evaluate coat quality and substance. I found myself wishing I could reach out into the screen and touch some of these babies. This time I also wish I had been given information on age -which I find of great value when I judge young adults and kittens. I really struggled with these beautiful 18 kittens. So many wonderful females….

1ST PLACE:

JUDGES COMMENT:
Incredible young male! He caught my attention right away in my first screening of the class. Looks lilac in the pictures and the tone is such a beautiful pastel. The coat looks amazing and I am pretty sure it also feels amazing as the picture gives the impression of great density and plush texture. Lovely breath of his skull, cobby body, strong bones and depth of chest. So balanced already. I love the roundness of his head and his full cheeks. Very impressive!

JUDGES COMMENT:
Fabulous type and development for a young female. She also caught my attention right away and placing her second was not an easy decision. Her coat looks fantastic and her eye colour is to die for. She looks intelligent, powerful, confident and is most definitely a beautiful example of her breed.

Fantastic type and coat. I am particularly impressed with the head of this young male. The ear set, muzzle and profile meet the standard perfectly and the photograph captures these features beautifully.

She looks like a teddy bear! What an incredible coat! What an incredible muzzle! She looks already pretty substantial. The sweetness of her expression is magical! Can’t help wanting to use the word cute with her but is is not very technical, is it?
